The movie cut out some parts that were not important. Now it was right at the part where Shu Yushuang and the other four went out to look for someone.  

Qin Su also saw the thing that kept following Shu Yushuang, and she saw it lightly jump onto the roof.  

The thing lay flat on the roof and watched below for a while, then looked like it was about to jump down. Qin Su’s heart tightened, and she quickly shouted, “Watch out above!”  

What happened next was something Qin Su never thought would happen.  

It was like Shu Yushuang heard her. She raised her head and looked up at once.  

Qin Su and Fang Xiqiong both froze. Not only Qin Su, even Fang Xiqiong, who thought she already knew this theater well, didn’t expect this to happen.  

At that moment, the time and space inside the theater overlapped with the time and space inside the movie.

But what was strange was that the four people with Shu Yushuang seemed to not hear Qin Su’s voice.  

Shu Yushuang quickly dodged the thing that jumped down from the roof.  

It was a dry and skinny human-shaped monster. Its whole body was pitch-black, and it had a human face, but its arms and legs were very long. It bent its body, and its arms hung down to the ground.  

Right now, the monster was staring at Shu Yushuang with hateful eyes.  

Shu Yushuang was about to take out her tool, but she soon found out she didn’t need to. The four Executors beside her had already pulled out their own tools and threw them at the monster.  

Shu Yushuang quietly pulled back the hand she had already slipped into her pocket.  

The tools those four Executors had were all for attack, so they soon drove the monster away.  

After dealing with the monster, the four of them turned their anger toward Shu Yushuang.  

Sun Tingting asked sharply, “Who are you? Why did that monster target you like that?”  

Of course Shu Yushuang knew why. Her ghost-attracting body must have acted up again. She finally decided to admit she was an Executor, or else there might be more trouble later.  

However, just as she was about to speak, Wei Hu suddenly said excitedly, “Are you a Daoist priest?”

Shu Yushuang: "?"

Wei Hu didn’t notice the confused look on Shu Yushuang’s face. She avoided Shu Yushuang and lowered her voice as she said to her teammates, “That’s how it always goes in movies. A group of reckless young people always runs into a master. I think she might be that master.”  

Ji Hui bit her lip lightly and said hesitantly, “It sounds... kind of right. This is a forced dungeon. Maybe it’s different from the normal ones before.”  

Sun Tingting and Xiao Xiao didn’t speak, but they nodded to show they agreed.  

Unfortunately, it was the first time for all four of them to enter a forced dungeon. Otherwise, they would never have such an idea.  

An instance dungeon would only try its best to set traps for Executors. How could it possibly send them a helper?  

Shu Yushuang, standing on the side, couldn’t help thinking these people had too much imagination. But she could be counted as half a Daoist priest.  

Even though Shu Ya never admitted it, she was a real orthodox Daoist priest. And as Shu Ya’s disciple, Shu Yushuang felt she could be said to have some ties with Daoist priests too.  

Maybe she should just accept this second identity they gave her?  

But while Shu Yushuang was still thinking about whether to admit it or not, the three of them already started calling her “Master.” She could only smile helplessly and go along with it.  

Inside the theater, Qin Su was already laughing so hard she almost couldn’t breathe—of course, for a vengeful ghost, there’s no such thing as “can’t breathe.”  

“Look at her face, hahahahahaha, why can’t she just say she’s an Executor?”

Hearing Fang Xiqiong explain so seriously, Qin Su slowly stopped laughing.  

“By the way, do you know what just happened? Did she hear what I said?”

“Then why couldn’t the other four hear it?”  

“That I really don’t know.”  

Qin Su didn’t speak. She just stared straight at Fang Xiqiong. Fang Xiqiong felt uneasy under her gaze.  

“Why... why are you looking at me like that?”  

“I’m thinking, from now on, when I come here, can I always watch movies like this?”  

“As long as your ghost energy is strong enough, you can.”  

“Then it’s settled. Since she can hear my voice, I can give her hints from here.”  

“You can, but...”  

Fang Xiqiong didn’t notice anything wrong, but she still felt that cheating like this might cause some serious results. After all, she still didn’t know why the time and space on both sides had overlapped.  

But Qin Su clearly didn’t think that far. Right now, all her attention was on Shu Yushuang.

Right now, Shu Yushuang just wanted to quietly think about what that voice was, but the four Executors beside her kept chirping non-stop, making her head ache.  

“Master, can you drive out ghosts?”

But after asking for so long, they finally noticed Shu Yushuang didn’t respond at all. Their “Master” was walking ahead alone, looking down at something.  

Sun Tingting stepped forward and looked down at the ground with Shu Yushuang. There were a few drops of blood scattered on the ground, with uneven shapes. The blood trailed forward and disappeared at the end of the road.  

Sun Tingting asked curiously, “Is this the blood left by that monster just now?”  

“It doesn’t seem like it. Let's check up ahead.” Without waiting for Sun Tingting to answer, Shu Yushuang walked forward on her own.  

Sun Tingting froze for two seconds, then quickly went back to pull the other three and caught up with Shu Yushuang.  

“Master, what do you think this blood came from?”  

“Master, how do you know it’s not the monster’s blood?”  

“Enough!”  

Shu Yushuang, already having a headache from all the noise, finally couldn’t help but shout.  

“If there’s really danger ahead, being this noisy will get you all discovered.”  

The four of them instantly went silent together. It seemed her words had quite a strong effect.

After no one spoke, Shu Yushuang suddenly felt a strong sense of pressure in her heart. Why was it so quiet?  

The sky turned dark fast. Just a while ago, she could still barely see the blood on the ground, but now she couldn’t see a thing.  

She stared into the darkness ahead, feeling uneasy inside.  

She wanted to go back first and come again when it was bright.  

“Don’t worry, go ahead. There’s no danger in front.”  

It was that familiar voice again.  

“Qin Su?”  

“It’s me.”  

“Are you here?”  

“No, it’s hard to explain right now. Just listen to me.”  

Shu Yushuang looked at the darkness ahead, thought for a moment, then firmly turned around and left.  

Qin Su: “?”

Even though Qin Su was confused, it was clear Shu Yushuang had no plan to explain anything.  

But Qin Su soon realized what it meant. Shu Yushuang just didn’t trust her.  

She slumped into the chair in disappointment, while Fang Xiqiong looked like she was watching a show.  

“She doesn’t believe in ghosts. You still have a long way to go.”  

“What way?”  

“You said you want to help her, right? If she doesn’t trust you, how can you help her?”  

Qin Su turned her eyes back to the screen. By now, Shu Yushuang and the other three Executors had already returned to their place.

Fang Xiqiong said again, “Actually, that was the right choice. Even though you didn’t see any danger, it’s hard to say nothing would happen in the dark. So maybe she’s not doubting you, she just made a better choice.”  

“I hope so.”  

Shu Yushuang didn’t tell her teammates that the feeling of being watched had followed her from the moment she stepped out until the second she reached the door of her place.  

After walking through the gate, she looked outside thoughtfully.  

The moment she entered, that feeling of being watched disappeared completely. The unknown thing that had been following her seemed to have never existed. Was it afraid of something inside this house?  

The Executors who stayed inside had already cooked. Every Executor knew that in a place where you could cook by yourself, only food made by your own hands could give you peace of mind.  

As for the village chief’s offer, the Executors didn’t even bother to consider it.  

At Sun Tingting’s warm invitation, Shu Yushuang still only took some food and brought it back to her room to eat. That made the others think she was rude.  

In the end, it was Sun Tingting who eased things up. “She’s a master. People with real skills always have some odd habits. Let’s just understand her. Maybe she’ll help us later.”  

Someone right away argued, “Don’t forget, this is a dungeon. How could a dungeon be kind enough to send us a helper?”  

Sun Tingting argued back, “Maybe forced dungeons are different from normal ones? Forced ones must be harder, so having a helper makes sense.”

The one speaking was a young man with glasses, named Han Yu.

After dinner, Sun Tingting assigned everyone their investigation routes for the next day.  

She decided to keep going with Wei Hu, Xiao Xiao, and Ji Hui, following Shu Yushuang to keep searching for that woman.  

As for the rest, Sun Tingting told them to either get more info from the village chief or talk with other villagers.  

After setting up the night watch order, she went to rest first.  

The next morning, Shu Yushuang got up early. She didn’t wait for anyone and went out by herself.  

She was used to acting alone, but if someone wanted to join her, unless she sensed clear danger, she wouldn’t turn them down.

Shu Yushuang went to the same field as before. The villagers were still busy planting, of course, still only men.  

At the spot where someone had died before, someone was working the land now. This man was a bit younger than the one who died yesterday. Shu Yushuang didn’t know what relation he had to the dead man.  

She decided to start by asking him.  

She walked toward the field. Although it wasn’t too hot, the young man’s forehead was already covered in sweat, and even his clothes were soaked.

At first, the man focused on turning the soil and didn’t notice Shu Yushuang approaching. Only when her shadow fell across him in the sunlight did he lift his head.
